The Pika is without a doubt, one of the coolest animals on earth. These resilient little creatures are a part of the rabbit family, and they live in high alpine locations - some Pikas can even live as high as 20,000ft elevation! But as resilient as they are in harsh locations... the Pikas are also very vulnerable to climate change. As our planet grows warmer ... the Pikas have been forced to climb higher and higher. Did you know that a Pika is in danger of dying if it is subjected to temperatures over 78 degrees Fahrenheit?

You can learn more about this fascinating critter by clicking here.  If you want to feel good about life itself and spend a few worthwhile moments appreciating this amazing little creature, please watch the following video of a Pika squeaking. It's worth every second and even the annoying YouTube ads:

About the artist, Sara 'Socks' Kruglinski:

Sara “Socks” Kruglinski is a California artist inspired by nature.  A lifelong backpacker and outdoorswoman, Socks hiked the PCT twice, once North and once South just to make sure she didn’t miss anything the first time.  She draws inspiration from adventures on the trails year round.  When she isn’t busy looking for Pikas in the rocks, she can be found creating bright happy illustrations of furry little animals enjoying adventures, or petting her rescue dog Ace. Sara hopes her art will inspire others to explore outside and enjoy the beauty of nature.

AMAZING!

Love my Kula Cloths! Fun designs and super functional. I use on multi-day river trips, road trips, car camping, etc. I have them in all of my vehicles just for road-side tinkles. They’re the best!

Cutest thing to *** on

My Kula cloth may be my favorite piece of gear! It is something I use every trip, feel good about (and love that I'm a better steward of the outdoors by reducing my TP use), and love the designs. I'm totally that person that get super excited to see another Kula in the wild and feel an instant connection and friendship.
