 This map is quite special

It shows the exact spot

Where an idea was born

An idea for a cloth

Taking a photo for fun

A silly joke, you see

Turned into a vision

Of a cloth made for pee.

Waaaaaaaay back in 2016 (why does that feel like 4 centuries ago?), founder Anastasia was taking photos of her blue microfiber pee cloth as a joke. She had an idea to make a series of Pee Cloth themed Christmas cards for a friend (she's such a great friend... wow). She was high on the Continental Divide on the Wind River High Route when ... *poof* .... she had an idea looking at her blue cloth. "Why isn't that a real piece of gear?" A few years later, and after much crying, Kula was born.

Brinkley Messick, the artist behind this incredible piece, painted the original on a piece of wood! This image incorporates a mountain scene from the Wind River range and the exact topo map of the spot where the idea for Kula was born. So, you see, this is a special Kula for many reasons.

Sometimes, ideas are gifted to you in the most wonderful, unexpected ways. Listen to them. Don't talk yourself out of them. There is always a way when you believe that something is possible. Go below the surface thoughts of your mind that tell you that you aren't good enough or that 'somebody else is alreading doing it' and just allow yourself to be open to the possiblities. You never know what could happen.

Here are the facts about a Kula (note: I cut and pasted this because it's too boring to write out every single time)....

- super absorbent (absorbs 10x its weight in water!) and soft

- advanced silver-infused, antimicrobial fabric

- eco-friendly non-toxic materials (Bamboo Viscose, Cotton, Organic Cotton, Polyester)

- durable and waterproof 'clean' side so your hand doesn't get wet

- easily snaps to backpack using plastic snaps

- 'double snap' allows cloth to hang while folded in half (so it doesn't touch pack and/or get dirty on the trail)

- easy to clean or rinse and quick to dry

- retro-reflective thread detail for locating it at night with your headlamp

- size is approx 6x6 inches

- weight per cloth is .63oz

- proudly made in the USA
