"It was super warm and protected my face and neck. I got the snowy trees design because that's where I hike in the winter. The fleece lining prevents yucky condensation from building when you cover your nose. I have not utilized the long hair ports yet because I'm growing my hair back out, but I can confirm that they do not gap or let cold air in if they are not being used, so I really appreciate the versatility that accommodates my hair no matter what."

Important note about the Topo Dreams print: the black fleece option is a slightly heavier, more 'plush' fleece than the blue, microgrid fleece (which is slightly lighter weight). Both are very warm and comfortable!
