"Local" LNT refers to the seven principles and how they can guide us to make choices that help us to respect, care for, and limit our impact within outdoor spaces. But why stop there? It doesn't make sense to value our outdoor spaces and preach the LNT principles if we don't think about how our everyday actions "impact" humanity and the rest of the planet.
"The outdoors is the place where I am able to feel like that happy kid running through the forest again with no other cares or responsibilities other than those in that exact moment and that is absolutely the most beautiful thing to me. I want my nieces and nephews to have those same opportunities when they get older. I want those places that fill my soul to still be around to give them that same feeling. "Keeping our impact on wild places minimal gives us all the opportunity to experience magic in our seemingly normal lives."
"I believe everyone can be an adventurer. It’s simply about getting outside and exploring the natural world: on foot, in a kayak, a hot air balloon, a camel, your bicycle, it doesn’t matter! Follow your passions, open your mind to the beauty and magic 'out there'."
"Leave No Trace is important to me and what I do, because the planet is my home, and I treat my home with respect, and keep it clean safe and healthy."
