Product details

  • If you are a long-haired human... you know what I'm talking about. Your braid either pops out of the top of the gaiter (preventing you from being able to tuck it into your jacket or helmet)... OR you have to tuck it inside your jacket (which is uncomfortable).

Enter... The Rapunzel Gaiter (patented design!). This is a double-layered, fleece-lined neck gaiter for cold weather activities. Mindfully designed with 3 unique 'pigtail ports' - the Rapunzel gaiter is specifically designed to be compatible with long hair for active winter pursuits. The gaiter works in three specific ways, designed to keep you warm and your skin covered while recreating in cool temperatures: a single side braid or ponytail, pigtails (or double pony tails, and a back braid (or pony tail).

Let me assure you - if you have long hair, this gaiter is life changing for all activities during cooler weather. NEVER AGAIN WILL YOUR NECK BE COLD - trust me. You're going to love it!

  • People love the Rapunzel Gaiter® because it solves a very specific problem that almost nobody else seems to acknowledge: long hair and traditional neck gaiters do not get along. The moment people pull their ponytail or braids through the ports for the first time, there’s usually an immediate “WAIT… this is SO much better” reaction.

If you have long hair, the Rapunzel gaiter will alleviate the following annoying symptoms:

    • No more stuffing your hair down your jacket.
    • No more cold neck when your hair is flooped out from underneath your jacket and over the neck of your jacket.
    • No more tangled, sweaty hair
    • You will never accidentally zip your hair into your zipper ever again!

The Rapunzel Gaiter was invented by someone who actually spends time outside with long hair.

Questions, answered

Common questions about the Rapunzel Gaiter

  • YES. In fact, I created the Rapunzel Gaiter because I wanted to be able to let my pigtails fly free while riding my motorcycle! Then, I realized it would be AMAZING for hiking, snowshoeing, etc....

  • Absolutely. There is a port on the back of the gaiter that is perfect for a ponytail.

  • Two side ports: accommodate a single side braid (on either side) or pigtails. One back port: accommodates a back braid or a pony tail.

  • Yep! It was designed by someone who got extremely annoyed by conventional gaiters while riding motorcycles. It works great with bicycle helmets, ski helmets, motorcycle helmets, horseback riding helmets and climbing helmets. Well, all helmets, really.

  • You can still wear it! The ports are covered by small flaps so wind won't get in.
