I am grateful for the life I have built for myself and for the continued possibilities ahead.
I’m grateful for being able to live this amazing, beautiful life! I’m mom to a 4 legged senior puppy – Gracie, and wife of 35 years to my incredible husband Joe, who is fighting cancer. I’ve already been treated for the dreaded C and the experience does make you value living more and more each day. While I enjoy being outdoors and hiking, my travels have been restricted because of my 2 roomies. I’ll get back out there though! Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Stop, smell the roses, tomorrow isn’t a given.
I am so grateful to wake up every morning and feel a connection to the Earth. Our landscapes and plant friends have so much to offer, and it’s so important to make space and time to appreciate the beauties around us while also focusing on giving back.

Growing up I felt like I never fit in.
As an adult it happened again and again.
Since I’ve grown older I’ve learned a ton.
I’m even learning to love me some.
I want to live in a world of love and peace.
A world that can calm a raging beast.
I want to live in a world where compassion is taught.
Where the things that matter can not be bought.
Maybe my perfect place will have a horse with a violin
or perhaps a gorilla sporting a grin.
It will be a place with woods and streams.
It will be far beyond my wildest dreams.
I am so thankful for dear friends to adventure with, this morning I did my second 5:30 am cold plunge in the Hood Canal with friends. This is something I would not have started without the support of the adventurous women around me.
