How does a Kula Cloth work?

Kula Cloth is made for women and anyone who squats to pee outdoors — hikers, backpackers, campers, trail runners, climbers, paddlers, hunters, and birders. It also travels well for van lifers, road trippers, festival-goers, and anyone who spends time somewhere without reliable bathrooms.
What is a Kula Cloth made of?
The absorbent side is a soft 71% polyester / 29% rayon (from bamboo) blend, treated with a silver-ion antimicrobial finish. The waterproof side is a polyester laminate. Each Kula Cloth weighs about half an ounce. Sewn in USA from imported fabric.
How do you wash a Kula Cloth?
Machine wash medium and dry medium, with no fabric softener and no bleach. Hand washing is preferred. In the backcountry, wash with a few drops of biodegradable soap at least 200 feet from water sources.
Is a Kula Cloth better than toilet paper for the environment?
A Kula Cloth replaces single-use toilet paper on the trail, so there's nothing to bury, burn, or pack out. One cloth is washed and reused rather than discarded after each use.
