  • People love WildBatch because it solves one of the least glamorous but most real parts of being outside: staying clean when there’s no sink, no shower, and no reliable bathroom in sight. It’s tiny, lightweight, and endlessly useful — the kind of product people throw into their pack “just in case” and then end up using constantly for washing hands, dishes, faces, cookware, trail grime, and general wilderness chaos.

Experienced adventurers love that it replaces multiple bulky products with one simple powder, beginners love that it makes outdoor hygiene feel approachable instead of intimidating, and low-waste travelers love having a compact, reusable alternative to disposable wipes and giant plastic soap bottles.

Mostly, people love WildBatch because it makes life outside feel a little more comfortable.

  • WildBatch handles:

    • Hands, face, and body
    • Dishes and backpacking utensils
    • Trail grime and post-hike refreshes
    • Road trip chaos and festival dust
    • Questionable campground sinks
    • Tiny wilderness identity crises

Basically: if it's dirty, WildBatch can probably help.

  • Ingredients: Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Kaolin Clay, Algin, Simmondsia Shinesis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Calcium Carbonate, Plant-derived fragrance oils (in scented products only).

  • A sprinkle of powder,
    a splash of water,
and suddenly the wilderness version of me
    feels slightly less feral.

Questions, answered

Common questions about Wild Batch All-In-One Cleansing Powder aka the coolest soap ever that comes in the coolest little tube ever.

  • It is! Tiny magical cleansing dust for your outdoor adventures.

  • Extremely. Tiny weight. Huge usefulness. Backpackers love gear that multitasks. We don't currently sell the refills, but if you love the soap (and the adorable wooden container), you can purchase refill power packets directly from Wild Batch!

  • Absolutely! Away from natural water sources, use your water bottle to wet your Kula. Then, shake a tiny amount of the powder onto your Kula Cloth. Add a little bit more water and then use your hands to agitate the fabric until it is nice and sudsy. Rinse the Kula with your water bottle and wring out as best as you can. Hang to dry overnight, or, in damp conditions: Place your damp Kula against your leg or stomach inside your long underwear (it'll be clammy for a few moments!). When you wake up in the morning, it will be dry!

  • You should never use any soaps (even ones that say 'biodegradable') in natural water sources. To use a soap in the backcountry following Leave No Trace Practices, we recommend taking your soap and water bottle at least 200 ft or more away from natural water sources. Wash yourself over a durable surface (like a trail, dirt or rocks) and use only a tiny amount of soap. Keep the soap away from water, meadows and other fragile parts of the landscape.

  • Shockingly far. This stuff lasts much longer than most people expect. It also feels SUPER LUXURIOUS! The Kula HQ office staff agree: we use this as hand soap in our bathroom and we LOVE LOVE LOVE it and prefer it over any other liquid hand soap.

  • Absolutely. It’s amazing for road trips, festivals, van life, international travel, and “why is this bathroom out of soap?” emergencies.

  • 1.1 oz. Biodegradable. So, no, definitely not heavy. The wooden container is SO cute.

  • Once, I saw a bear run down a hill and chase another bear (not even kidding). It was wild. Remember: the wild places out there are a reflection of the good and the wild that lives in all of us. Does this mean that I have two running bears inside of me? Hmmm. Maybe.
