Color My Outdoors is a grassroots 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that’s changing the outdoor narrative to celebrate People of Color. Our work centers culture, legacy, and leadership in nature by providing access to storytelling, resources, and advocacy that amplify underrepresented voices in outdoor spaces. We’re rooted in the Southeastern United States — a region where Communities of Color are most present, yet least visible in the mainstream outdoor industry. We're here to change that.

About the artist, Leandra Taylor:

Leandra Taylor is a self-taught, multimedia artist whose work is a celebration of nature’s beauty and the richness of Black culture. With a mastery of drawing, acrylics, and watercolor, she transforms color into a language of expression that brings bold, soulful energy to every art piece. Leandra's artistry blends her love for the outdoors with a passion for storytelling. Beyond fine art, this modern artist's creativity extends into the world of gear design. Her signature style has been featured on an ENO hammock, Smartwool socks, and KEEN footwear. On a canvas or in functional design, her artwork infuses a sense of joy, movement, and connection to the natural world. Through every brushstroke and creation, Leandra hopes to inspire others to find beauty in both art and adventure.
