Dearest Kula friends - this is a very special Kula for a Cause because it benefits The BIPOC Outdoor Gear Library.

It's also the VERY FIRST Kula that features art created in plasticene relief!

The BIPOC Outdoor Gear Library is a  community-based lending library focused on providing access to outdoor equipment for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) communities of (so-called) Guelph, Ontario and the surrounding areas. Through collaboration with partners and our library community, we are working to increase the representation of racialized people engaging in outdoor recreation by reducing barriers to access, creating community, providing resources and facilitating education. The featured artist is a member of our community, having attended our Learn to Backcountry Camp Event.

You can follow the BIPOC Gear Library on Instagram or on their website.
