Description
Ok, Kula customer... it's story time. A few years ago, we had an order for a single custom Kula from a customer named Peter. He wanted to put his logo for his brand - Top Shelf Backpacking - on a custom Kula. It was one of the very first custom Kulas that we ever printed!
We became friends with Peter on Instagram... and then, we met Peter and his wife Jessica at PCT Days. Little did we know that his wife Jessica was an amazingly talented artist who was starting her own jewelry brand called Whispered Frequency.
I (Anastasia) had the following conversation with Jessica:
Anastasia: Do you think you could make earrings that look like Kula Cloths?
Jessica: I might be able to do that!
Anastasia: If you ever do, I'd love to see some prototypes.
<Jessica creates 6 of the most mind-blowingly-beautiful mini Kula prototype earrings in existence>
Anastasia: MY MIND IS BLOWN!!!
And, that, friends ... is the story of how Jessica from Whispered Frequency created the most beautiful mini Kula clay earrings that we've ever seen. They are all made by hand with love and care by an amazing human, and we are so proud to work with Jessica and support her creativity and art. When you purchase these earrings (or purchase any of the other amazing art on her Etsy store), you are supporting a small artist making beautiful things, so thank you!
About the earrings:
Polymer clay is strong and durable and when cured flexible, but care should still be used to preserve the designs, and flexing or bending may damage the earring. If makeup gets on the earrings use a cotton swab damp with isopropyl alcohol and lightly swipe to remove. Use of a baby wipe can also work. The gold ear posts are 18K gold plated brass and the silver ear posts are platinum plated brass. The butterfly backs are 304 stainless steel. To help prevent metal from tarnishing keep earrings away from lotions and oils.

About the artist:
Jessica is a self taught polymer clay artist with a goal to create goods that give you the feels, no matter what frequency you're on. Jessica chose polymer clay as her creative medium because of the vast flexibility and creative freedom that polymer clay offers. Currently her focus is on jewelry, primarily earrings, but Jessica has dabbled in home goods and is excited to expand her brand.
