VERY IMPORTANT: You will receive a message from us with a proof before we print your Kula, so watch your e-mail and please check your spam folder! If you do not respond to our message with your proof after one week, we will make your Kula to the best of our ability and ship it to you.
Tips for sending a good image for your portrait Kula:
choose an image where large portions of your pet are not cut off by the edge of the photograph or covered up by other items in the image
make sure your photograph is high resolution (at least 300 DPI). A standard cell phone image works great!
for the Founder's Choice option, please leave a note in the 'order notes' box at checkout with any instructions, ideas or inspiration that you'd like us to include. Get creative and have fun with your ideas! Don't worry you WILL see a proof before your design is printed!
If we have any issues with your photo, don't worry, we will contact you and let you know!
Other things to consider before submitting a design:
please submit only art or photography that you own the rights to use (i.e. your original art or photography... you must be the artist or the photographer... or have permission from the artist or photographer to use it - please include this permission in the order notes)
do not use any logos that you are not licensed to use
remember that the Kula is in the shape of a diamond, so be sure that important elements of your design are contained within the middle of the image. If your design is a rectangle or square, parts of the edge of your design will be cut off
we will rotate your design for you and make adjustments so it fits in the Kula template
Kula reserves the right to refuse any designs that are not in alignment with our brand values

Please note that Kula Lab custom prints are currently available with only black thread and black snaps.
If you have design requests for your custom Kula please include those in the order notes. If you don't have a photo or art - but rather a concept - please purchase the Kula and include your idea in the order notes and we will be in touch with you to plan your dream Kula!
Please allow 3 weeks for delivery of your custom Kula Cloth.
