Hello friends, and welcome to the most secret... most magical place... on the entire internet. You are welcome here... to sit and listen to a little whisper of the infinite possibilities that live within YOUR HEART at all times. Who you are matters, and you have so much to bring to the world -- never forget that!
You were born on this planet
Only one of you exists
You matter so much
You have so many gifts
Not one person alive
Sees the universe like you
There's not much I know
But this much is true
Who you are is important
Your dreams are not silly
So keep walking that path
Even when it gets hilly
Each up and each down
A lesson you learn
A new opportunity exists
Around every single turn
Don't let go of ideas
They are meant to stay alive
As you nurture them with love
They start to thrive
And what starts as a glimmer
Will burn as a spark
And the light in your soul
Will brighten the dark
The more glimmers that rise
The more light we will see
The more people will bring
Their unique creativity
A ripple in a pond
It starts very small
But soon all that joy
Is shared with the all
It only takes a single
Person who decides to decide
That they won't live small anymore
That they weren't meant to hide
And as that blossoming happens
A flower so rare
The beauty, unimaginable
Extending infinite care
To all who are part
Of this cosmic river above
And we keep flowing on
Powered by that infinite love.

Gratitude gives us the best attitude.
Is a motto I try to follow,
But sometimes in life things happen that make it hard to swallow.
We get hit hard by circumstances in life.
It can make us full of anger, bitterness, and strife.
Yet we all have something to be thankful for,
Just search deep in your core!
Happiness and gratefulness will take us so far,
And we will shine to other like a beautiful night star!
I am thankful for a healthy body that keeps me moving.
I’m thankful for my home, even if it’s old and needs some extra TLC.
I’m thankful for my supportive and caring husband.
I’m thankful for the fresh local produce that has been filling our bellies!
I’m thankful for my job.
I am NOT thankful for the mouse who has decided to wreak havoc on my pantry and avoid every trap I’ve set up through the house. Now I must go clean up the 10 lbs. of flour that found itself fluffing through the air as little gnarly teeth freed it from the paper bag it had been contained in.
I am thankful for the freedom to roam. I am so thankful to be able to hit the trail, visit family in other cities or countries, participate in global charities and conservation efforts, and explore and experience this beautiful world.
I’m grateful for the fun and encouraging group of people I’ve fallen in with to play pickleball. Play happens every morning (OMG every morning!). I’ve met so many new people, caring people, just enjoying the camaraderie. Everyone is managing with an aging body and all skill levels are present. Shared laughter is constant. The experience is very much like being a kid again and you are excited when your friends show up at the playground. It’s one of my pandemic silver lining experiences.
Grateful for the privilege of breathing air, feeling joy and pain, and knowing the stone beneath us is time itself…supporting, waiting, ready when we are. (Not unlike a Kula cloth!😉)
I’m grateful for modern medicine that has absolutely stopped my knee pain, so walking doesn’t hurt. I’m grateful for sunrises and sunsets. I’m grateful for good friends, and family. I’m grateful for the color blue.
